The Reset Retreat
The pandemic. Police brutality. Racism. Microaggressions. Deadlines. Paperwork. Spouses. Parenthood. Family & Friends. Crisis clients. Burnout.
The list could go on and on. The truth is we hold a lot and we are tired.
You deserve this time to be with others who really understand. This retreat will be for fun, reciprocal conversation, peace, and restoration.
You will be able to connect, be seen, and re-energize for the next phase of your career.
If this speaks to you, it’s time to invest in your self-care in tangible ways.

What to expect
Our first activity will include movement- this will be based on weather. Brunch will be provided along with creative activities to network.
We’re in the mental health field so expect therapist-y activities to explore emotions, connect with others, and release anything that is no longer serving you. The afternoon will usher in a shift into play.
This will include a meal, games, dancing, and the potential for an evening you won’t soon forget.
The full itinerary will be emailed prior to the retreat.
You will leave the retreat feeling
-
Joyful
We don’t plan to lecture on self-care which is typical of mental health gatherings. This is an opportunity to put self-care into practice in real-time with laughter, dance, community, and fun.
-
Connected
There will be ample amount of opportunities to connect with other brown professionals who know the the stresses of being a minority in the mental health field.
-
Rejuvinated
By harnessing the infinite power of community and being seen as your authentic self it will inspire the same for your work as a fellow helper.
